Film ini dibuat 16 tahun yang lalu. tahun 1993 lebih tepatnya, dan gw baru berkesempatan untuk menontonnya hari ini, bahkan kalo gw ga insomnia dan HBO tidak memutarnya hari ini pun sepertinya film ini akan masuk ke kategori 'the old great movie that putri hasn't get a chance to watch it'. jadi, gw beruntung akhirnya bisa menonton film ini, sungguh suatu kebetulan yang menyenangkan.
and i'm not here to talk about how wonderful the movie was. but there's a scene that i'd like to share with you guys, one my favorite scene, i have to say. it's when Robert Redford asked Demi Moore to dance, and she said no, and then he answered gently..

I remember once when I was young, and I was coming back from some place, a movie or something. I was on the subway and there was a girl sitting across from me and she was wearing this dress that was bottoned queer up right to here, she was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.
And I was shy then, so when she would look at me I would look away, then afterwards when I would look back she would look away. Then I got to where I was gonna get off, and got off, the doors closed, and as the train was pulling away she looked right at me and gave me the most incredible smile.
It was awful, I wanted to tear the doors open.
And I went back every night, same time, for two weeks, but she never showed up. That was 30 years ago and I don't think that there's a day that goes by that I don't think about her, I don't want that to happen again.
Just one dance?

what a beautiful, honest and yet persuasive line that makes Demi re-think about it and finally he got a chance to dance with her.
and related to the real life, i know it hurts. just staring that precious chance pass you by without doing anything about it. haha. pathetic indeed!!
missing a chance?
wish you could have a time machine an turn back the time to fix it, and see how it works?
but hey, life's too short to fill with regret!! it's just one time chance.the big one is not yet to come!! so, go get it!!
